It seems like it was just yesterday that we were all celebrating the return to the court for Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose, but the joy has quickly ended. Rose went down with another serious knee injury late last week, that was diagnosed as a torn meniscus.
Rose underwent surgery to repair the torn meniscus today and now the team has announced that he will miss the remainder of the season.
From Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today Sports:
Bulls say guard Derrick Rose will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery to repair torn medial meniscus on Monday.

Rose sat out all of last year after suffering a torn left ACL and now a torn right meniscus will put him on the sidelines once again. By missing the remainder of the season, it lets us know that Rose had his meniscus fully repaired instead of removed.
We wish Rose a full and speedy recovery.
