J.R. Smith is an interesting character.

He is known as a guy who likes to party, and stays out all night before a game. He has bought a tank, and pictures are floating around the Internet that show his partying ways. He was suspended for 5 games for violating the NBA’s drug policy, and some question his dedication to the game.

Smith makes fun of himself in the latest Foot Locker ad, as he portrays a man who goes to bed at 9 before games, and is very responsible. I don’t bet, but I’m willing to bet that Smith does not go to bed at 9, nor does he intend to ever again.

He has been up and down this season, and the Knicks have been bad. It might benefit the entire team if they go to bed at 9 before games, as they need something to turn their fortune around. It’s nice to see a guy poke fun at himself, and it’s safe to say that Foot Locker has the best NBA commercials out there.
