Markieff Morris has been a nice player for the Suns this season. He is averaging a career-high 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
In Monday night’s game against the Heat, Morris makes a move to get to the basket, and he is met by Chris Andersen–a.k.a. the Birdman. Birdman goes up, but he doesn’t fly as high as Morris does, and he delivers another poster for the NBA.
Andersen is a guy who will typically get dunked on due to his role. He is in there to provide energy and shot blocking, so he will go after guys who drive to the rim.
Morris gets the highlight, but the Heat seem to be well on their way to a win. The Suns were without Eric Bledsoe for the fifth straight game in this one, and they are missing his play immensely. It looks like the Morris is challenging Paul Millsap for our Dunk of the Week on Saturday. This was just a filthy dunk.
