Senior Bowl announces second round of accepted invitations

The Senior Bowl has announced their second round of accepted invites as they are going to roll out each Monday.  The full list can be found here, but the added another group of players this week.  One of them, Aaron Murray, the quarterback from Georgia was acknowledged for earning the invite and accepting it, but will be unable to participate because of an ACL tear he suffered in their game against Kentucky on Saturday, ending his prolific career in Athens.  Hopefully, he can have a good recovery and continue his pursuing his career in the NFL.  Here is the full list this week:

Aaron Murray, QB Georgia
Chris Borland, ILB Wisconsin
Terrence Brooks, DB Florida State
C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE Iowa
Robert Herron, WR Wyoming
Keith McGill, CB Utah
Morgan Moses, OT Virginia
Caraun Reid, DT Princeton

Murray’s situation is unfortunate, but it happens.  Hopefully, the rest of the players can stay healthy and ultimately participate in the game which happens the last week of January and is an impressive collection of talent and a great forum for players to get recognized both by the NFL and the media for their talent and accomplishments over their collegiate careers.
