Florida Gators' Will Muschamp not worried about his job

Despite having a disaster of a season that has the Florida Gators entering their rivalry game with the second-ranked Florida State Seminoles as  massive underdog with a 4-7 record coming off a loss to an FCS school in Georgia Southern, Florida Gators’ head coach Will Muschamp says he isn’t worried.

When reporters asked Muchamp if he was worried about being fired, he replied “absolutely not.”

Mushcamp knows there are obviously problems in Gainesville, but doesn’t think it is anything he can’t fix.

“It takes work,” Muschamp told Jesse Simonton of the Miami Herald. I don’t believe we’re that far off. Regardless of the results Saturday afternoon, which is all disappointing for everyone, starting with me, I just don’t feel like we’re that far off. I think there’s some key components for our football team that aren’t playing for us right now.”

Muschamp’s boss, athletic director Jeremy Foley, continues to give Muschamp a vote of confidence and reports indicate he will be back for the 2014 season.
