When the third-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes travel to Michigan to take on the rival Wolverines Saturday, they will have two key defenders back in the lineup.
Both starting linebacker Curtis Grant and starting cornerback Doran Grant will play against the Wolverines Saturday.
Curtis Grant has had both an injured ankle and back and hasn’t played in either of the Buckeyes’ last two games. On the season, the 6’3, 241 lb. junior has 46 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
“We didn’t feel like he was quite ready, and we’ve got to get him back,” Buckeyes’ head coach Urban Meyer said when asked about Curtis Grant. “I think Curtis Grant will be good to go, which we’ll need him in this game.”
Doran Grant, a 5’11, 191 lb. junior, left the first half of the Buckeyes’ 42-14 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers and did not return to the game. The team did not disclose the injury. On the season, Grant has 47 tackles and two interceptions.
The Buckeyes and Wolverines will kickoff at noon EST and the game is on ABC.
