‘Sons of Anarchy’ No New Episode This Week

Some of you may be doing exactly what I am doing right now; shaking your fist in the air screaming “WHY?!?” Unfortunately, it is true…there is no new episode of Sons of Anarchy tonight.

There is an upside and a downside to this.

The downside is pretty obvious…there is no new episode tonight. However, the upside is that this gives us an entire extra week to ponder, scheme, and create conjecture as to what is going to happen in these last two episodes of Sons of Anarchy.

Jax certainly set a whole new game plan into play when the club voted to end, in quite the most literal sense of the word, their relationship with Galen and the Irish. While I am not at all saddened by Galen’s departure, I am left to wonder what this is going to mean for the MC when the news of his death makes it back to the Irish Kings.

Also, maybe I am looking into this a little too closely, but did anyone else notice the significance in the amount of times that Jax shot Clay? I think the first bullet, the one that ultimately ended his life, was for the death of his father John Teller. However, what about the other five?

I am thinking that this may be one for each of the people in Jax’s life that Clay has taken from him. Ultimately, almost every death of a club member, family member, or friend has traced back to one singular person; Clay Morrow.

Whatever the case may be, I think that scene was so brilliantly executed. Then again, would you expect anything less from the evil genius mastermind known as Kurt Sutter?

Now, we have to look forward to next week’s episode. With only two episodes left in this season, you know that there is absolutely no way that things are going to cool down between now and then.

I think the linchpin in the remainder of the series lies in the hands of Tara Knowles-Teller. She has one heck of a choice in front of her; turn her back on everything that she has ever known in order to do what she thinks is right and protect Abel and Thomas by taking them into Witness Protection, or will she refuse to cooperate and risk the chance of losing her own freedom? Of course, there is always a third option, but we will get into that a little more next week.

Until then, here is a preview for next week’s all-new episode of Sons of Anarchy entitled ‘You Are My Sunshine’.

Sons of Anarchy airs on Tuesday nights at 10:00 p.m. on FX.
