You don’t often hear of players clamoring to play in Milwaukee, but most players aren’t Caron Butler.
The veteran NBA swingman grew up in the area and was thrilled when given an opportunity to play for his hometown team this past offseason. Butler has always played with a sense of pride, but does so even more now considering he’s representing Milwaukee.
That’s likely why he was less than thrilled during a recent loss to the Detroit Pistons which involved point guard Brandon Jennings getting cute as the clock ticked down.
With Detroit up 19 points and a handful of seconds remaining on the clock, Jennings, who is known for his immature ways decided to put on a random dribbling display. Butler didn’t appreciate it and rushed over to Jennings after a few seconds and looked to have said something to the California native. Jennings of course played for the Bucks the past few seasons and had an up and down relationship with the team.
Butler then gave Jennings a stare down as the two walked off the court and glared at the Detroit bench as he left the floor.
