The Chicago Bears are preparing themselves for their final division battle with the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday and will be without Jay Cutler.

This team has been hit hard with injuries this season after starting out strong. They looked as if they were a strong playoff contender but have recently gone hill defensively. It’s put a lot of pressure on their offense to score more points than recent years, but they’ve done fairly well this season.

With their passing game looking great, their running game hasn’t really been all that great. Don’t get me wrong, Matt Forte has been doing alright but Michael Bush hasn’t offered this team much to work with.

Forte a slightly hyper extended knee in the blow out loss by the St. Louis Rams. He continued to play the rest of the game but didn’t have much of a choice considering how Bush has played this season.

According to Jeff Dickerson on Twitter, Chicago’s running back missed today’s practice with that knee injury. He went through a little bit of rehab on Tuesday and is expected to play this Sunday against the Vikings.

Chicago will be on the road until their Monday Night showdown against the Dallas Cowboys on December 9th.
