Dolphins WR Mike Wallace wants to 'shut up' Jets DB Antonio Cromartie

For the first time all season, Mike Wallace seemed to be on the same page as quarterback Ryan Tannehill in Week 12. Unfortunately, it didn’t translate into the win column as the Miami Dolphins lost to the Carolina Panthers in a heart-breaker, but if there was a silver lining it was that Wallace was able to produce with Tannehill.

It’s something he hopes to do again this weekend when the Dolphins visit the New York Jets where Wallace plans to ‘shut up’ defensive back, Antonio Cromartie:

“He’s a smart guy. He talks a lot,” Wallace said. “He’s going to try to get in your head so you just got to make plays and shut him up. Shut him up early, I think it’ll be a long day for him.”

Prior to last weekends outburst, Wallace had only surpassed 41 receiving yards once in his past four games, so it’s certainly big talk from a player who has struggled to produce.

Should be a fun matchup watching the two go after each other.
