Los Angeles Clippers players don't want team to sign Lamar Odom?

It’s been a while since Lamar Odom had success on a basketball court. Allegedly, that’s how a handful of Los Angeles Clippers players would like to keep it as TMZ Sports is reporting that players don’t want the team to sign Odom, suggesting he’ll be a distraction to the team. It’s also mentioned that many players don’t feel Odom can help them:

Lamar Odom may love the Clippers … but the Clippers don’t love Lamar Odom — ’cause our team sources tell TMZ Sports the locker room does NOT support an L.O. comeback.

Our sources — and they’re solid — tell us … the players don’t believe Lamar can help the team win this season. In fact, several players believe he’ll be nothing more than a distraction.

It’s a pretty understandable stance considering the Clippers aren’t exactly in need of help and Odom was a massive disappointment the last time he set foot on an NBA court. Add in the drama he’d bring and there’s really little reason the Clippers players would want Odom in their locker room.

TMZ also suggests that multiple players feel Odom has not kicked his drug habit, but do wish him the best in his recovery.
