Redskins tight end Jordan Reed expected to play vs. New York Giants
By Bryan Rose
Nothing against the San Francisco 49ers defense, which is very talented, but on Monday night the Washington Redskins offense looked dreadful. Granted, they were opposing the solid San Francisco defense but a lack of weapons hurt just as much.
Thankfully, things will get a little better this weekend as tight end Jordan Reed has passed his concussion test and has resumed practicing for the Redskins:
"Jordan Reed was participating in the part of practice we got to watch. We’ll see how much he gets to do during team drills today. #Redskins"
Reed of course missed Monday’s matchup after suffering a concussion in Week 11 but should be fine for the Week 13 matchup against the New York Giants on Sunday night.
Washington is also without wide receiver Leonard Hankerson, who recently underwent surgery for a torn LCL and ACL.
Reed, who has been somewhat of a security blanket for Robert Griffin III in recent weeks should return to that role, especially with Fred Davis continuing to dig his hole deeper – this after reportedly missing a meeting last week.
