Rex Ryan jokes about foot fetish in book (Photo)

By now, you’re well aware that New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan has a foot fetish. But what you likely didn’t know is that Ryan has a long-standing celebrity crush on Heather Locklear.
The actress could be considered somewhat retired given her lack of time in the public eye, but during the 80’s and 90’s there were few in Hollywood more popular than the blonde bombshell. So it was with good reason that Ryan had a thing for the former Melrose Place star.
Knowing this, somebody (presumably within the Jets organization) felt they’d have a little fun at Ryan’s expense as documented in the upcoming book, Collision Low Crossers which covers a season in the NFL and around the Jets.
The author, Nicholas Dawidoff explained the hilarious and yet slightly awkward moment where Ryan was presented with an autographed photo of Locklear:
Who sent Ryan the autographed photo or when this actually took place (at least a year ago since Pettine is no longer the Jets defensive coordinator) remains a mystery, though, at least Rex can have some fun with it.
