The Kansas City Chiefs received some good news this morning as talented linebacker Tamba Hali has a ‘good chance’ to play in their Week 13 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Hali, who suffered an ankle injury in Kansas City’s Week 12 loss to the San Diego Chargers wasn’t sure if he’d be able to take the field this weekend, though, with swelling down and pain minimal, head coach Andy Reid confirmed Hali will likely suit up:

"Reid said good chance Hali plays on Sunday"

The talented defender will not practice on Wednesday and will likely take it easy for the remainder of the week, but should play in the pivotal AFC West matchup barring a setback.

Unfortunately, despite the good news regarding Hali, there wasn’t any news on fellow linebacker Justin Houston who seemed to suffer a more severe injury. Houston was unable to have an MRI taken earlier in the week due to swelling (he couldn’t bend his arm to complete the scan), though, reportedly will have that test done today as swelling has subsided enough.

His status will be determined later this week.
