UEFA Champions League Results (Nov. 27)

It was an exciting day of Champions League group play. In Group A, Manchester United came in with a one-point lead over Bayer Leverkusen. The two sides were squaring off in Germany to battle for first place in the group, the loser could be caught or passed by Shakhtar Donetsk.

Shakhtar took care of business beating Real Sociedad at home while United dominated Leverkusen on the road. That moved Shakhtar into second place in the group ahead of Leverkusen.

In Group B, Real Madrid stayed atop the table with a dominating win over Galatasaray. That win allowed Juventus to climb if they could get the win over FC Copenhagen, which they did. That moved the Italian side into second place in their group by a slim two-point margin.

In Group C everyone stayed put. PSG moved further ahead in first place, but Olympiakos stayed in second. Even though Benfica won, they still are behind Olympiakos on goal differential.

In Group D, everyone stayed put as well. Bayern Munich and Manchester City both won their matches.
