Part one: Wednesday night NBA game predictions (Nov. 27)

Indiana @ Charlotte – The 13-1 Pacers are the safe bet, but the Bobcats have a lot to prove every night.  The Bobcats may stun the Pacers, but it is unlikely.  Pacers win 99-98.

Philadelphia @ Orlando – Great matchup between 76er rookie point guard Michael Carter-Williams and Magic veteran point guard Jameer Nelson.  Nelson’s stats aren’t mesmerizing, but he gets the job done.  Magic win 100-95.

Memphis @ Boston – The Grizz lost two games at home after sweeping their California road trip.  The Celtics have won their last two games after going on a six game losing streak.  Who is hungrier?  Grizzlies win 103-92.

LA Lakers @ Brooklyn – Last night, Brooklyn won its first game in 11 days against the Raptors.  The Nets scored one point in the final five minutes to win by two, but a win is a win.  Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett will not let the Lakers beat them at home.  Nets win 96-91.

Miami @ Cleveland – I wonder how many Cleveland fans will be feeling the holiday cheer with LeBron James in town.  This game is on ESPN at 7:30 pm ET for a reason.  Kyrie Irving is great, but it will be a small miracle to beat the Heat with Dwyane Wade and James playing well.  Heat win 110-97.

Chicago @ Detroit – The Pistons are better than their 6-8 record suggests.  Without Derrick Rose in the lineup for the Bulls, the Pistons have the upper hand.  Pistons win 104-98.

Atlanta @ HoustonJames Harden is a game time decision, but Jeremy Lin is a good replacement if Harden remains out.  The Rockets are first in scoring and third in rebounding, which offsets their poor defense.  Rockets win 115-110.
