The hard running St. Louis Rams are coming off a huge victory over the Chicago Bears.

Their running game played a huge part in their 42-21 route of Chicago, which was led by both Zac Stacy and Benny Cunningham. Both of these young running backs combined for 25 carries and slashed that running defense for over 200 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

This Sunday they’re traveling to San Francisco to take on division rival San Francisco 49ers in a game that will test how solid of a team they actually are. St. Louis displayed some good things on both sides of the ball, but it was against a defense who has given up more points or rushing yards this season than they have in recent years.

Now running back Zac Stacy left Sunday’s game with a concussion which allowed Cunningham to step in and take over the workload. Today Stacy returned to practice for the Rams which is good news. He’s missed a couple practices this season but has always been ready for game day.

Even if the Stacy has to miss this week, I’m sure this team won’t panic considering how well Cunningham has been running the last couple games.
