Cain Velasquez opens as betting favorite over Jon Jones in potential superfight

It was just a week ago that UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones begin to speak about his future plans to move to heavyweight and eventually have a fight with the UFC’s heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez. Those comments caught the attention of plenty people and it looks like Vegas was paying attention as well.

BetOnline decided to put together a future bet for the potential bout and they had their line open with Cain Velasquez being a big favorite.

Whether or not this fight happens remains to be seen, but it is something that is fun and worth discussing.

Velasquez and Jones are two of the sports biggest stars and they provide an intriguing match up that fans would tune in for. It is also the most realistic superfight that the UFC could put together.

We will all have to hope that the match up can one day be made, but for now we will just need to dream.
