‘The Hobbit’ Bilbo comes face to face with Smaug in new TV spot for ‘The Desolation of Smaug’

We are just two weeks away from the release of the second installment of The Hobbit series entitled The Desolation of Smaug. Over the course of these two weeks, you are going to see the last few promotion efforts for the film come to light. Earlier this week, Warner Bros. gave us another look into the epic journey ahead for our friends in their newest adventure.

As we know, the Dwarves are on a mission to reclaim their Lonely Mountain home from the dragon Smaug, voiced by Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch, who has taken up residence in the dwarves’ treasure room and essentially stolen everything from them.

In the newest TV spot for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, we see as the Dwarves’ resident Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, played by Sherlock actor Martin Freeman, as he comes face to face with the dragon Smaug.
