Marina Shafir, TUF 18 coach, fights tonight at Tuff-N-Uff

While the season finale of The Ultimate Fighter 18 takes place on Saturday night with a number of fighters from the cast stepping inside of the octagon for their first official UFC bouts, there is one familiar face for TUF 18 fans that will be fighting on Friday night.

Marina Shafir, who is a good friend of UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and a fellow TUF 18 coach, is set to headline the latest event for Tuff-N-Uff: The Future Stars of Mixed Martial Arts.

Shafir, 3-0, will be taking on Tabitha Patterson in the main event.

The event takes place in the Mardis Gras Ballroom at Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, with the card beginning at 10 p.m. ET. That gives Rousey enough time to be with her fighters at the TUF 18 weigh-ins before heading to the Orleans Hotel & Casino to corner Shafir.

Tuff-N-Uff is an amateur promotion, but we could soon see Shafir making the jumps to the pros if she is able to pull off another impressive submission victory.

The event is available as an online pay-per-view for $9.99. You can visit the Tuff-N-Uff website for more information.

Here is the full fight card for tonight’s event, which is headlined by Shafir and Patterson:
