If you are a big Miami Heat fan in the Minneapolis area, then you will have a chance to high-five one of your team’s biggest stars. All you need to do is take advantage of the offer that the Minnesota Timberwolves are offering up to fans prior to their game against the Heat on Dec. 7.

Darren Rovell of ESPN gave the scoop:

It is certainly a unique marketing strategy and it doesn’t say much about the team’s confidence that their fans will show up to root them on. It also doesn’t look good for the team’s stars that the organization has to sell chances to high-five the other teams players.

Perhaps the most disappointing factor in all of this is that there are folks said enough that they are willing to pay for a high-five.
