Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini allowed his grumpiness to spill over during the half-time interview. As he was jogging to the tunnel a reporter tried to keep up to ask a question about the first half.
Reporter: Coach, what was your reaction to the two early interceptions?
Pelini: Well what do you think? What kind of question is that?
He has plenty to be frustrated about. The Huskers were about to go into the break down 14-0 at home to the Iowa Hawkeyes before a 33-yard field goal from Pat Smith put them on the board.
Nebraska quarterback Ron Kellogg III threw interceptions on the Huskers first two drives of the game. One of those interceptions from Kellogg gave the Hawkeyes the ball on the Nebraska 25 yard line. The scored a touchdown on that drive.
It reminds me of a video from earlier in this month when someone “asked” Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love a question. Love stared for a brief moment then pointed out that it wasn’t a question.
