New England Patriots’ starting quarterback Tom Brady has been known to turn wide receivers who were considered non factors, into house hold names.

Rookie wide receiver Aaron Dobson stepped up for this team against the New York Jets back in September and made an impact immediately. Dobson was placed in the starting lineup after wide receiver Danny Amendola was inactive in that game against New York.

He scored his first career touchdown against the Jets on a 39 yard touchdown pass during the first quarter.

I remember it being a game that involved a lot of dropped passes and some blown plays by rookie quarterback Geno Smith.

Anyways, Dobson is having himself a great rookie season with the Patriots thus far. He’s picked up nearly 500 receiving yards on 35 receptions for four touchdowns.

Dobson injured his foot against the Denver Broncos and hasn’t practiced since. The extent to his injury hasn’t been released, but I’m guessing it has to be serious enough if he hasn’t practiced all week.

The rookie wide receiver has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.
