The Thunder were down 112-110 with a few seconds to go, and they missed a shot to win the game. Somehow, Russell Westbrook came up with the ball, and he made magic happen:
What an awesome play by Westbrook, and this is certainly something the Thunder or the Warriors won’t forget anytime soon.
That was such a difficult angle, but somehow Westrbrook gets squared up, and knocks it down. For some reason, Harrison Barnes didn’t force him farther in the corner, and allowed him to get free. I can bet he’s kicking himself for that one.
After an inefficient start to the season, Westbrook had his best game with 34 points and 7 assists, and he had the best shot of the night.
The Thunder are now 11-3 on the season, and they look as formidable as anyone in the league. The Warriors can hang their hat on the fact that they had a chance to win this game without Andre Iguodala, and they are still a great team.
