The traveling ESPN College GameDay show headed to the deep south for the Iron Bowl match up on rivalry weekend. The College GameDay crew posted up out side of Jordan-Hare Stadium for their show on Saturday morning when No. 1 Alabama tries to get a difficult win over a No. 4 Auburn team.
“Obviously the one that we have this week coming up against Auburn is a very important game. They have a great team. They’ve had a great season,” Alabama head coach Nick Saban said, via ESPN.
“It’s going to be important for everybody in our organization to make a commitment to doing their very best job to play their best football, because that’s probably what it’s going to take to have success against a very good team.”
Lee Corso comes into this game with an 8-game streak on the line. The last game he got wrong was at the end of September when he picked LSU to beat Georgia on the road. The last time he was at the Iron Bowl in 2011, the game was also at Auburn. Corso picked a No. 2 Alabama team to beat a No. 24 Auburn team, and he was correct.
So who would Corso pick top win? While Alabama might be favored but picking the Tide on Auburn’s campus would be a brave decision. You can see his pick below.
