Clemson Tigers QB Tajh Boyd has accomplished a lot in his illustrious career. But, one thing that he has not done is defeat the rival South Carolina Gamecocks, and he’ll have one last chance to get that done on Saturday before he departs for the NFL.
The sixth-ranked Tigers have had themselves another masterful season under head coach Dabo Swinney. Aside from being beaten handily at home by Florida State, Clemson has rolled their way through everyone else, and would love for nothing more than to end their regular season with a win over the Gamecocks. Also, the Tigers still have hopes for a BCS at-large berth to play for.
South Carolina will look to defeat the Tigers once again, as they also keep an eye on the happenings between Texas A&M and Missouri. If the Aggies are able to defeat Mizzou, then the Gamecocks will be headed to the SEC Championship Game.
But, I’m sure that this win means almost as much, so don’t expect them to overlook anything.
Here’s how you can watch this annual rivalry take place on Saturday:
Date: Nov. 30
Start Time: 7 PM ET
Location: Columbia, SC
Stadium: Williams-Brice Stadium
