As a child of the late 80′s or early 90′s, you likely grew up on Mortal Kombat, the popular fighting video game.

Mortal Kombat has grown in popularity over time and has a cult like following, which apparently must include Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard who decided he’d employ some of the famed moves in a recent pregame introduction.

Howard, who’s known just as much for his playful antics as he is his game busted out what looked to be a near spot-on replication of Scorpian’s’ (an extremely popular and playable character in the game) patented moves, along with help from point guard Aaron Brooks.

Clearly, these two spent a little bit of time in the tunnel perfecting the dance which came out pretty awesome. Brooks’ head bobble, representing a dazed opponent was the highlight for me, giving it the perfect authentic feel.

Howard and his Rockets went on to beat the Brooklyn Nets after the dance-fest, thankfully, as a loss would have made things quite awkward.
