With the last regular season of the college football weekend upon us, we need to be honest about one thing: The Heisman Trophy picture is about as cloudy as it’s ever been at this point.

Through 13 weeks, one of the front runners of the entire season–and the young man that was considered the shoo-in to win–is now battling some legal demons that may hinder his chances at taking the trophy home in a few week.

Last year’s winner, who actually stood to benefit a bit from the situation mentioned above, may have blew his chance on national television last week against LSU.

A mere hours after that happened, a quarterback that had displayed video-game-like numbers fell flat on his face in front of everyone against a top-15 team.

But, with all of this, it makes the race that much more exciting as it opens up some opportunities for some great players who were not considered that highly beforehand to take advantage.

So, let’s take a look at some of the match ups this week that could possibly clear all of this up:
