The Denver Nuggets and small forward Danilo Gallinari have been oddly silent in regards to the sharpshooters recover from an ACL injury, which he suffered in early April.
In what’s looking to be eerily similar to what took place with the Chicago Bulls and Derrick Rose, Gallinari has continually had his return date pushed back – though it should be worth mentioning no return dates were ever made official, those dates were only speculation/rumors.
Regardless, it was believed by some that Gallo could return by late December or early into 2014 but that will obviously not be the case as the Italian has yet to touch a basketball or run in any capacity in his recovery. Gallo still believes he’ll return to the court at some point this season though, attempting to squash speculation that he’ll sit for the entire year:
Ex-Knick Danilo Gallinari, who tore his ACL late last season, isn’t close to making his Denver season debut, but has denied rumors he won’t return this season
We wouldn’t expect Gallinari back at any point before the All-Star break.
