Although he might not be in a lot of conversations anymore after missing a few games with an injury, there was a reason that Ohio State QB Braxton Miller was considered a front runner for the Heisman Trophy coming into the season, and he’s showing that today.
After Michigan went up 7-0, Miller answered that with a 53-yard TD pass to Devin Smith. After that, Michigan put another on in the end zone to take the lead again on the undefeated Buckeyes.
So, Miller answered once again, only this time he showed that tremendous versatility by using his legs.
With time winding down in the first quarter, Miller took off 53 yards to the end zone to get even with the Wolverines once again and keep his team alive in this one:
That made the score 14-14, but you have to still give a lot of credit to the Wolverines for how tough they’ve fought Ohio State so far. Having the undefeated Buckeyes playing catch-up like this can only work in their favor late in the game.
