In this year’s edition of ‘The Big Game,’ the Michigan Wolverines came out and punched the undefeated Ohio State Buckeyes right in the mouth by capping off a 99-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown run by Devin Gardner.
After taking that punch, Braxton Miller and the Ohio State offense took the field and answered right back.
With 75 yards to go, Miller put his passing game to work to hit Devin Smith for a 53-yard touchdown strike, which evened things up at seven apiece:
I’m not sure that anyone expected this much offense this early from these two, but that’s what they’re getting.
If Ohio State keeps up the offense like that, then they’ll keep themselves in a good position to take a trip to Pasadena to play for the crystal ball if the right chips fall in front of them.
Right after this play, though, Michigan answered right back with another TD to take the lead once again.
We may be in for a back-and-forth afternoon with these two rivals, which I’m sure no one is going to complain about.
