It’s that time of the year again. The time where the most heated rivalry in all of the Big Ten takes place as the Ohio State Buckeyes travel to Ann Arbor to take on the Michigan Wolverines.
Ohio State, to have a shot at potentially playing for a national title, needs to win out their last two games, beginning today with the Big Blue.
However, early on, the Wolverines aren’t making that easy.
Michigan came right out of the gate and let the Buckeyes know that they weren’t just going to roll over and play dead by scoring first, making it the first time that Ohio State has been scored upon first.
After a huge run by Jeremy Gallon, QB Devin Gardner capped off a five-play, 99-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to put his team up first:
That was certainly not the way that the Buckeyes wanted to get started off, but they were able to answer back later with a score of their own.
