Blake Griffin is one of the best dunkers in the NBA. He has extreme hops, can get out in the open court, and has a few posters in his resume.

As you can see from the video above, Griffin is set to make another highlight reel dunk, and he meets Roy Hibbert at the basket. Roy Hibbert is 7’2, and that showed. Griffin comes close to posterizing him, but the ball misses, and the almost highlight became nothing.

The Pacers got the win as well, so I’d say that this is a win-win for them. They are now 16-1 on the season, and it looks as if no one is going to slow them down anytime soon.

Many people are comparing the almost dunk to Griffin’s slam over Timofey Mosgov a few years back:

Hibbert famously blocked Carmelo Anthony’s dunk in the playoffs last season, and now he has Blake Griffin’s attempt on his resume of stopped dunks. Griffin won’t stop trying, though, and you can expect more posters from him in the future.
