Sunday afternoon has certainly seen its share of incredible performances so far, especially from wide receivers, and the Cleveland Browns’ Josh Gordon is a big contributor that.
On that day against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Gordon has totaled over 260 yards receiving and scored two times. Yes, those 260 are entirely for one game.
That number was inflated in the fourth quarter when Browns fans saw the impossible happen.
Backed up at their own five yard line, QB Brandon Weeden and Gordon went to work immediately. Weeden dropped back and found Gordon for the 95-yard touchdown play:
I can’t say that I know anyone that could have predicted seeing the Browns do anything like this at any point in this season, but they did today, and that’s due mostly to the performance of Gordon this afternoon.
Unfortunately, though, the Jaguars were able to come back and grab a three-point lead, a lead which they currently hold on to as time is running off the clock.
