The Philadelphia Eagles got their first win of the season at home against the Washington Redskins before the bye week. They’re looking for their second home win in the game after the bye week when the Arizona Cardinals come to town. The Eagles need a win to stay with the Cowboys atop the division. Beating a quality 7-4 Arizona team to get that win will be a difficult challenge.

Especially given how strong the Cardinals run defense is. They’re giving up an average of 81.3 yards on the ground, a mark that is second best in the league. The Eagles ground game is also ranked 2nd in the NFL with an average of 150.6 yards per game.

The Cardinals are in a tough division and fighting for a wild card spot.

“I think there’s no reason we don’t (make the playoffs),” Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said, via ESPN. “We have a big game this week again against a team that’s a game behind us on the road, was in first place and fighting for the division title, so it will be another good barometer.”
