The 2014 Reese’s Senior Bowl roster just got a big boost at wide receiver. Vanderbilt Commodores wide receiver Jordan Matthews, who is one of the top receivers in the nation and a potential first-round pick, has accepted his invitation to play in the game.
The Senior Bowl made the official announcement on their Twitter account Monday afternoon:

Matthews assaulted the SEC record books this past season and he will have a great opportunity to continue showing NFL scouts what he can bring to the next level. He is the SEC’s career record holder for receptions with 364 and receiving yards with 4,950.
With a full week to work with an NFL coaching staff and the opportunity to go against some of the top senior talent in the 2014 NFL Draft class, Matthews can emerge from Mobile, Alabama leaving no doubt that he deserves to have his name called within the first 32 picks.
