Baylor Bears to wear throwback uniforms against Texas (photo)

The Baylor Bears will be playing their final game at Floyd Casey Stadium on Friday, and the team is celebrating the occasion in (retro) style. The Bears will be rocking some sweet throwback uniforms — which, thanks to Phil Hecken of Uni Watch, you can check out below — when they take on the Texas Longhorns.

Pretty nifty, no?

The Bears have used Floyd Casey Stadium for over six decades, but the recent ascension of the football program has necessitated an upgrade. Baylor’s new stadium will seat about 45,000 fans and comes with a price tag of $260 million. Sports Illustrated offered a video tour of the unfinished stadium last week, which you can check out here. The new stadium will open when the Bears take on the SMU Mustangs on Aug. 31, 2014.

(And yes, it does indeed look like you’ll be able to park your boat outside the stadium. Anyone up for some sail-gating?)
