Heisman Trophy 2013: Jordan Lynch moves to No. 2 in latest USA Today poll

After a heart-breaking loss to the Auburn Tigers on Rivalry Weekend, Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron has watched his chances at taking home the 2013 Heisman Trophy slip through his fingers. However, with McCarron slipping down the polls, Northern Illinois quarterback Jordan Lynch was able to take advantage of the opening and find himself rising up the latest polls.

Lynch was able to leapfrog McCarron in the latest USA Today Heisman Survey and he now appears to be guaranteed a spot in New York City as a finalist.

If Lynch is able to bring home the award, he would be the first player from a non-automatic qualifying conference to bring home the Heisman in the BCS era.
