The Dwarves’ journey to retake their Lonely Mountain home kicks into high gear tonight at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
Tonight, the stars of the film, along with a small group of incredibly lucky people, will get to step foot inside of the Dolby Theatre for the World Premiere of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

The coverage will include appearances by director Peter Jackson, Martin Freeman, who plays the Dwarves’ resident Hobbit Bilbo Baggins, Richard Armitage, who plays the mighty Thorin Oakenshield, Benedict Cumberbatch, who is the voice of the dragon Smaug, Luke Evans, who portrays Bard the Bowman, Stephen Fry, who is the Master of Laketown, and Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly, who play the Elven warriors Legolas and Tauriel.
The action starts at 6:30 p.m. PT, which will be at 9:30 on the east coast.
