Minnesota Timberwolves 'Cheers' parody is awesome (Video)

For some, the television show ‘Cheers’ might be a little too old school, but for many, it brings back fond memories of a time gone by.

That must be how Marco Lopez felt when he created this Minnesota Timberwolves ‘Cheers’ parody video, which by all accounts, is amazingly awesome.

Things start out in the video just like they do in the original Cheers opening theme, showing shots of the city before the Timberwolves parody branches off into shots of the arena/crowd to fit with the theme.

Then we’re re-introduced to the wonderful Kevin LoveRicky Rubio photoshop image from a few days back, complete with a handful of other graphical creations like Rick Adelman and Corey Brewer being crafted into some of the vintage Cheers montages, along with Kevin Martin as well.

Really gets you thinking about what other famed television shows could be turned into hilarious parodies like this. Somebody really needs to do a ‘Full House’ one, complete with a mullet wearing Uncle Jessie.

All in all, a wonderful job.
