The Alabama Crimson Tide were knocked out of the SEC Championship game after their loss to the Auburn Tigers in the 2013 Iron Bowl, which means that senior quarterback A.J. McCarron will get just one more game to show NFL teams why he is worth an investment for their franchise.
McCarron will have his curtain call in the team’s bowl game before beginning the draft process, but he is already receiving plenty of praise.
In fact, at least one NFL scouting director is saying that McCarron reminds him of one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
From Matt Miller of Bleacher Report:
An AFC scouting director compared AJ McCarron to Tom Brady, per @AlbertBreer. Whether you agree or not, that’s valuable information.

The comparison may shock some people and it certainly won’t be embraced by everyone, but McCarron does have the leadership ability that could warrant such a comparison.
It is also to remember that Brady was not a highly sought after NFL draft prospect, so thinking McCarron has similar aspects to his game at this point in his career is not completely ridiculous to believe.
