UCLA fan stands on Tommy Trojan, USC fans pelt her with beer and bottles (Video)

Because of the history of pranks between USC and UCLA, Tommy Trojan was wrapped to protect him before their rivalry game. The UCLA Bruins ended up defeated the USC Trojans 35-14 over the weekend. One UCLA fan, presumably full of a little liquid courage, decided to climb the statue and stand with Tommy Trojan.

USC fans did not approve and immediately began throwing beer and bottles at her. You can see beer hitting her though thankfully most of the objects thrown at her miss. She could have been injured if one of those glass bottles connected. You can hear bottles clank off the statue near her though and some glass break.

“UCLA runs L.A. now,” quarterback Brett Hundley said after the game, via ESPN.

“You win two in a row in this town, and things start to change,” UCLA coach Jim Mora said. “If I’m a high school player, I want to play at UCLA. … There’s nothing like tonight. You don’t get that in the NFL. That was more exciting than the dang Super Bowl.”
