31. Denver Broncos
Selection: A.J. Johnson, linebacker, Tennessee
Denver could use some help on the defensive side of the ball, so Johnson could be a stellar fit.
While Wesley Woodyard has been a serviceable inside linebacker for the Broncos, an upgrade wouldn’t hurt and Johnson would certainly give the team a boost. Pairing Johnson up with Danny Trevathon would give the team an exciting duo in the middle of their defense for years to come.
Johnson is a speedy linebacker that is stout against the run and he is incredibly aggressive and physical. Denver could go with a defensive end or add some offensive line depth, but a player like Johnson could be too much to pass up.
