The Dallas Cowboys have been able to go 2-1 over their past three games, but the defense has unquestionably been shaky. A big reason for the team’s inconsistent play is the absence of middle linebacker Sean Lee, who has missed the past three weeks with a knee injury.

Losing Lee was a big loss for the team, but now fans can be happy with the news that Lee is expected to be back for next week’s Monday Night Football match up against the Chicago Bears.

Lee is one of the top middle linebackers in the league, so having him back should give the team’s defense the boost that they need to help the team keep opponents out of the endzone and contribute to keeping Dallas atop the NFC East.
