Following an impressive performance in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale, Nate Diaz has moved up three spots in the updated UFC lightweight rankings. Diaz dismantled Gray Maynard with a first-round TKO, which has resulted in his big leap up. Unfortunately for Maynard, he watches himself slide three spots.

Diaz now comes in at No. 5 in the latest rankings, while his teammate Gilbert Melendez remains at No. 2.

Former champion Benson Henderson is still the No. 1 contender, with T.J. Grant and Josh Thomson filling out the top five at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively.
