New York Knicks head coach Mike Woodson has likely been racking up the credit card points in recent weeks thanks to the absurd amount of pants he’d has to purchase, considering most are burnt from the hot seat he’s been sitting on.
Now owners of the second worst record in the league and in the midst of a nine-game losing streak, the team is concerned their poor play could be the driving force behind the Knicks firing their head coach, at least according to Carmelo Anthony:
“I mean, yeah, we’re worried about that,” Anthony said on Tuesday. “But then again, we’ve got to worry about playing basketball, man. I think that’s been a problem in New York all this time. Everybody worries about what’s being said on the outside.
Strangely enough, if the Knicks stopped losing to sub-par teams, they wouldn’t have such a worry.
Bad as the Knicks have played, you have to think Woodson would get a bit longer leash though it is likely tightening to an uncomfortable level at this point.
