Throughout his brief career so far, some have called in to question just good Blake Griffin’s overall game on the court is. Sure, he can put up all the poster dunks that he wants, but people want to see a complete basketball player. That, as Michael Jordan showed us, is what makes a star.

Some have really called into question his defensive skill set, or lack thereof, if you will. Okay, he may need to develop that a little bit more, but it might not be entirely his fault that he’s not an elite defender.

No, it could also have something to do with the opposing team’s home court being a little slippery. Has anyone thought of that? No? Well, tonight, I’d beg to differ:

Well, it could be the court, or it could be that those $200 shoes don’t work as well as they’re supposed to neither.

Either way, as you can see, Griffin’s intentions were in the right place on defense, just–his feet weren’t.
