Tonight, the Pacific Division leaders and 12-6 Los Angeles Clippers took a trip east to take on the nine-win Atlanta Hawks in the Wednesday night contest.
So far, through the first quarter, the Hawks have gotten off to a great start as they’ve been able to not only grab, but maintain a lead over the big dogs from the west so far.
But, that’s not to say that the Clippers haven’t had their share of big plays, and they got one in the first half from their star, Blake Griffin.
Just as the game had gotten underway, Griffin made a phenomenal play underneath the rim against some heavy pressure from the Atlanta defense:
At that point, that gave the Clippers a 4-3 lead, which has since been squandered, as said before.
However, if Griffin can continue to make plays like that for this team, then they should have no problem coming back against a Hawks team that hasn’t had some of the best outings of the year thus far.
