It is absolutely a thing of beauty most of the time watching the Los Angeles Clippers’ guard Chris Paul work with the ball in his hands. Every single night the he steps on the court, he proves once again why he is more than likely the best point guard in the game today.
Tonight, on the road against the Atlanta Hawks, he proved that once again on a beautiful play with time running down in the first half.
With his team down, and needing something, Paul once again took the ball in his hands and made something happen. He dribbled around for a bit at the top of the key, creating just enough of a diversion and drawing enough attention, to the point where Jamal Crawford could make a dash toward the hoop, where Paul got the ball to him:
Just as, if not more, impressive than Paul’s assist may have been Crawford with the beautiful up-and-under afterward. Just an incredible play all around by the best team in the Pacific Division.
