The invitations to the Senior Bowl are rolling out and players are accepting their invitations, which are being announced several at a time by the Senior Bowl itself. A few players and schools are so excited for the honor, they have shared it on social media. Florida offensive guard Jon Halapio shared the good news via Twitter

Halapio has accepted his invitation as has his Gators teammate, cornerback Jaylen Watkins, so both are scheduled to be in Mobile at the end of January. The season may have been a disapointment for the Gators on the field, but they do have a number of players with NFL talent and potential.
The 6’3″ 320lb Halapio is a road grading, powerful guard with a lot of size and strength that has helped power the Gators running game the past few years. He is good in a phone booth but has some questions when it comes to quickness and range, both in pass protection and executing pulls and getting to the second level in the running game. The Senior Bowl will give him the opportunity to showcase his skills, take NFL coaching and have a chance to talk to teams as he works towards the NFL Draft in May.
